Dr. Subayyal Ikram is a multi-faceted personality based in Lahore, Pakistan. In a surprisingly short span of time, he took social media platforms by storm, earning up to a staggering number of more than 1.2 Million followers on the internet. He is prominent for being the CEO of the world’s first Sharia-compliant real estate company, ABS Developers, which has delivered wildly successful projects in the past few years and is currently working on a few projects as well.
The first time he came into the spotlight was when people saw him reciting the Quran in a melodious and heart-touching voice as a lead prayer on YouTube.

Interestingly, Dr Subayyal received an honorable MBBS Degree, but he did not pursue a career as a doctor. Rather, he broke the stereotype (that a person can only pursue a career that centers on the education they achieved) and aimed his passion of being a leading real-estate tycoon.
While he received an MBBS degree from a notable university in Karachi, he had a dream to lead a premier real-estate company carrying the mission to introduce luxury into people’s lifestyles at affordable costs. Subayyal disclosed this fact during interviews on different social media platforms. Responding to the question of why he got an MBBS degree, despite the lack of interest in it, he disclosed that getting an MBBS degree was her mother’s behest. Thus, in deference to her mother’s desire, he took the venture that did not catch his fancy though.
He completed his degree in 2014, did a house job for a year, and then began channeling his efforts to make his dream come true—to become a real-estate tycoon who believes in placing a premium on quality over quantity when it comes to building dream homes for people.
His phenomenal success caused belief in God to be deeply ingrained in his heart and soul, which prompted him to propagate these teachings among the business industry and youth as well. You may often find Subayyal vocalizing an important fact that worldly success is elusive unless we follow the path of Allah and place. His personality has deeply inspired the youth to seek success in the observance of Islamic teachings.
Because of his knack for oratory, he has been invited to large seminars and famous universities to deliver the message of Shariah and its correlation with worldly and hereafter success.
His ideology is deeply rooted in the proposition that all problems—whether they are social or financial—owe to one cause: distancing from religion.
In a similar vein, he puts emphasis on eradicating dishonest practices in every sphere of life, especially business, which is at the top of the list.
It is a cliché but true: an aspirant has to go through hard times before his dreams come true. Subayyal’s journey was the true epitome of this maxim, as he sustained a gigantic, unbearable loss of 400 million that brought his family to the verge of bankruptcy. However, at this point, the divinity interjected, and as a result, the tide turned, completely transforming his fortune.
Subayyal took to religion to lean on in this dire hour and decided to deeply indulge in the teaching of the Quran. According to his statements that often circle social media, he took solace in the recitation and understating of Quran verses, which propped him up in this setback. Especially one ayah that abundantly subsided the suffering of loss and filled him with an unwavering belief in God was “Allah ease one’ affairs who fear him” Surah Al-Talaaq: Verse 4. His interest in building a real-estate Empire was rekindled. He again set off on the pathway, and so far, he has delivered multiple successful projects.
